Política de cookies

This page explains what cookies and similar technologies this website uses.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website can store in a visitor’s browser. They are used for technical purposes, for example to keep a visitor logged in or to remember a preference. Similar technologies, such as local storage, can serve the same purpose.

Cookies used by this website

At the moment, this website uses only the cookies that WordPress needs to run the site:

PurposeTypeDurationRequired
Keeps a visitor logged in in the administration areaEssentialUntil the browser is closedOnly for people who log in
Remembers the value of the comment formEssentialUp to 1 yearOnly when comments are enabled
Protects the contact form against automated spamEssentialShort-livedOnly when the form is used

No advertising cookies, analytics cookies or cross-site tracking cookies are set by this website at present.

Advertising and analytics

This site is prepared for Google AdSense, but advertising is currently switched off and no advertising code is loaded. If advertising is enabled in the future, Google may set cookies and use similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and a consent banner will be added before that happens so that visitors in the jurisdictions that require consent can accept or refuse them.

The same applies to analytics: none is installed today. Any analytics tool added later will be listed here and, where the law requires it, gated behind the consent banner.

Managing cookies

Every browser lets you view, delete and block cookies. Blocking cookies does not prevent the articles from being read, but it does end the session of a logged-in editor and can break the comment and contact forms.

Because this website currently sets no advertising or tracking cookies, no consent banner is displayed. A banner will be added at the same time as the first technology that requires consent.

Keep the table in sync with reality. If comments are disabled and the contact form is not used, remove the corresponding rows.
